One Folder Is Created Importing Two Folders with Same Name

SYMPTOMS

When you import two folders with the same name from an e-mail program into Outlook Express, only one folder is imported.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, follow these steps:

  1. Open the e-mail program containing the folders you are trying to
import.

  1. Note the names of the folders you are trying to import, and then rename any folders that have the same name.

  2. Close the e-mail program containing the folders you are trying to import.

  3. Import the folders into Outlook Express.
