Entire URL Not Recognized as Link When Message Is Opened

SYMPTOMS

When you include a Universal Resource Locator (URL) address in a message, the entire URL may not be recognized as a link when the message is opened.

CAUSE

The URL contains line breaks.

RESOLUTION

Use one of the following methods if the URL contains line breaks:

  • Enclose the URL in Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) identification marks ("<" and ">").
  • Do not put a line break in the URL address in your message.
