To change the name that appears on the From line in news messages you send, follow these steps:

  1. Start Internet News.

  2. On the News menu, click Options.

  3. Click the Server tab, and then type the name that you want to appear on the From line in the Name box.

  4. Click OK, and then quit Internet News.

NOTE: Changing the name that appears on the From line in news messages does not alter the actual e-mail address of the sender.
