Internet Mail Stops Responding While Downloading Messages

SYMPTOMS

While you are downloading a message, Internet Mail may stop responding (hang). This usually occurs when there is a long list of names on the To or Cc lines in the message.

CAUSE

The message you are downloading has a very large header, typically larger than 4 kilobytes (K).

RESOLUTION
