MORE INFORMATION

Tribal Voice has made a patch available on their Web site that allows PowWow to work with Internet Explorer 3.0 for Windows 95. You can obtain the patch at:

   http://www.tribal.com/powwow/msie30.htm

Microsoft has not tested this patch and does not support it.

Internet Explorer 3.01 for Windows 95 supports the DDE function WWW_RegisterProtocol. This allows PowWow to function correctly with Internet Explorer 3.01. However, there is a problem using PowWow to visit sites that contain frames that may cause a general protection (GP) fault or may cause your computer to stop responding (hang).
