Users May Not Appear After Being Added to a New Group

SYMPTOMS

When you add a new group to the Address Book in Microsoft Internet Mail for Macintosh, users are added but may not appear.

CAUSE

The presence of a character in the Search field causes inconsistent behavior, resulting in these symptoms.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, make sure the Search field is empty before you add users.

STATUS

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

MORE INFORMATION

One way to verify this behavior is to look at the status bar at the bottom of the New Group window and compare the number of users to the number displayed.
