The Mswheel program is designed to unload itself if it detects that the operating system has built-in support for the wheel. The only operating systems with built-in support for the wheel are Microsoft Windows NT Server version 4.0 and Microsoft Windows NT Workstation version 4.0.

The Mswheel program runs in the following versions of Microsoft Windows:

You can determine the version of Windows you are running by following these steps:

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
