CRS E-mail Notifications Not Sent from CRS on Receiving Side

The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

CRS e-mail notifications for replications are only sent from the source server in a CRS replication project. Receiving side servers will not send e- mail notifications.

RESOLUTION

Functionality was added in MCIS 1.0 Service Pack 1. With SP1 installed, receiving side servers will also send e-mail notifications.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Commercial Internet System, version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
