IMS: INETCFG Returns Incorrect Space Available

SYMPTOMS

INETCFG returns incorrect space available.

CAUSE

The command

   inetcfg pop3 get_vroot_size /mailroot

returns 3.8 GB when the actual space available for this root is 16 GB.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Commercial Internet System (MCIS) version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
