IMS: Listserver Mailbox and Config Files Not Removed

SYMPTOMS

According to specifications, 

   listcfg REMOVE_SERVER <listserver_name> [SMTP_server_name]
will remove the list server called listserver_name. It will then delete the mailbox, configuration file, and directory for the list server name. However, the mailbox and configuration file remain in the directory even after a remove is performed.

NOTE: The above occurs on both local and remote creation and removal of the list server.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Commercial Internet System (MCIS) version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
