No Command Line Tool to Set Max Inbound Connections in SMTP

SYMPTOMS

There is no command line tool to set the maximum inbound connections in SMTP. However, there is a command line tool to set the maximum outbound connections.

CAUSE

This functionality does not exist today.

WORKAROUND

Use the User Interface to set the maximum inbound connections in SMTP.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Commercial Internet System (MCIS) version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
