In High volume situations, you should separate servers, and each server should run a separate network connection. Then the servers' IP addresses can be placed in a DNS table resolving to the same name. As a result, you would get round-robin load distribution managed by the DNS servers.

The above suggestion is the easiest and most reliable way to service a large volume of connections. However, you can use scripting to do load balancing. A script (for example, an Active Server Page) could be used to cycle through a list of servers.
