SUMMARY

In Microsoft Word for Windows version 2.0, if you copy an MS WordArt object to the Clipboard and then try to paste it into Windows Paintbrush, the Paste command will be unavailable. This problem occurs because Windows Paintbrush can only accept graphics, and WordArt is in text format.

To paste a WordArt object into Paintbrush, convert the object to a graphic by pressing ALT+PRINT SCREEN while the WordArt is being displayed on the screen in Word or WordArt. The screen is copied to the Clipboard in a graphics format, and you can then paste and edit the object in Paintbrush.
