Does Commerce Depend on Any Specific Application-Level Objects?

ID: Q160720

The information in this article applies to:

Q. Does the Commerce Server system depend on any specific application- level

   objects?

A. Review Clockped's Global.asa file for a list of Application property
names that should start with "MSCS". You can change the name of
the object returned by CreateObject() to whatever you like, but the
Application property has to be named as expected by the system. For
   example:

      Set FooOrderPipeline =
Server.CreateObject("Commerce.OrderPipeline")
REM The Application property must be named as it is
      Set Application("MSCSOrderPipeline") = FooOrderPipeline

Note that this applies only to Commerce Server components (objects)
   created in Global.asa.
