This article, which only applies to workstation entries in SNA Manager,
describes the following problems that were found with SNA Server 3.0 and
corrected:

1. Unable to Associate Pooled Resources to Workstations


2. Context Menu's Insert Does Not Work If Workstation Is Selected


3. Add Assign To Workstation Menu Option to 3270 LUs and 3270 Pools

1. Unable to Associate Pooled Resources to Workstations

SYMPTOMS
========

SNA Server 3.0 does not have the ability to associate pooled resources to
workstations.

If you select a workstation, then right-click and click Insert, nothing happens.

If you are selecting a pool or workstation, you are not able to assign the LU or
pool to a workstation through the right-click menu options.

RESOLUTION
==========

A fix is available to correct this problem.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SNA Server version 3.0. This
problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft SNA Server 3.0 U.S. Service Pack.
