BUG: HDR Hangs Sending Decimal Data to SQL DateTime Column w BCP

SYMPTOMS

Host Data Replicator (HDR) stops responding when you use BCP to transfer a DB2 Decimal (8,0) field to a SQL Server DateTime data field.

WORKAROUND

To avoid this problem, do not transfer DB2 Decimal (8,0) data to SQL Server DateTime fields.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Host Data Replicator, version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
