Cannot Size Window with the ALT+HYPHEN+S Key Combination

Summary:

You cannot use the ALT+HYPHEN+S key combination with Q+E versions 2.10 and 2.1c as you can in Excel to size a window from the keyboard. To size a window from the keyboard, use the CTRL+F8 key combination.

If you have one file open, you can use the Window Arrange All command to maximize the open file within the Q+E workspace. If you have multiple files open, this command tiles all of the open files.

The inability to use ALT+HYPHEN+S also affects the windows displayed by choosing Show Order from the Sort menu, Show Conditions from the Select menu, Show Joins from the Select menu, or Show Memo from the Edit menu. Once a topic from Help is selected, the information is displayed in a window, also.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Q+E versions 2.10 and 2.10c. This was problem was corrected in Q+E version 2.50.
