PRB: SYS2070: System Could Not Demand-Load Application Segment

Microsoft SQL Server for OS/2, version 4.2

SYMPTOMS

When attempting to start SQL Server, the following error sometimes occurs:

SYS2070: The system could not demand load the application's segment. SQLSERVR.EXE is in error.

WORKAROUND

This error is most often caused by a damaged or corrupted SQLSERVR.EXE file. To work around this problem, either reload SQLSERVR.EXE from the release media or use the MS-DOS FC.EXE program (or an equivalent program) to compare the suspected damaged file with the new file. This program will perform a byte-by-byte comparison and indicate any differences.
