SUMMARY

A Q+E memo field is a dBASE variable-length-text data type. The information is not stored in the .DBF file but in a corresponding .DBT file with the same prefix.

A file containing memos will display the word "memo" in the memo field. To view the information in the memo field, choose Show Memo from the Edit menu or double-click the word "memo" if you are using a mouse.
