SUMMARY

To display the current sort order, use the Window menu's Show Info command. Windows Q+E brings up a window displaying information about the current query, including the sort order.

This is different from previous versions of Q+E; earlier versions had a choice of Show Order under the Sort menu.

The earlier versions of Q+E made distinctions between sorts done in a descending order to those done in an ascending order, by including the words Ascending or Descending next to the corresponding sorts. The current version of Q+E distinguishes between the two sorts by including the abbreviation Desc beside a descending sort and including nothing beside an ascending sort.
