Double-Clicking a Cell Will Cause Cursor to Move in Excel

SUMMARY

Double-clicking a cell that contains a reference to another cell will cause the cursor to move to the referenced cell. This is true for references to the same worksheet, to other worksheets, and to other applications.

Priority is as follows: Cell notes have priority, and when using multiple references, Excel will choose the reference farthest to the left.

MORE INFORMATION

To return your cursor to its original position, choose Goto(F5) from the Formula menu and select OK.
