Although the mouse is invisible, it may still work (and reappear when you select something in the PowerPoint window). However, in most cases, you must shut down PowerPoint to get the mouse to reappear. CAUSE ===== The Package Command Manager Polling interval interferes with the ShowCursor routines within PowerPoint. STATUS ====== Microsoft has confirmed this to be an issue in Systems Management Server versions 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2. This issue was corrected in the latest Microsoft Systems Management Server 1.2 U.S. Service Pack.
