Excel 2.2: Only the Eight Standard Macintosh Colors Supported

SUMMARY

The "Microsoft Excel Reference" manual for version 2.2 incorrectly states the following on page 255:

   Actual number [of foreground and background colors] will depend on
   your printer and its driver software. To take advantage of more
   than eight colors when printing a chart, set the color of the
   chart's objects to Automatic.

This information is incorrect. Microsoft Excel 2.2 supports only the eight standard colors of black, blue, cyan, green, magenta, red, white, and yellow.
