  • Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh, version 3.0

SUMMARY

If you use the Data Access Macro (DAM) with a server that has Apple's Data Access Language (DAL) version 1.3 installed, Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh version 3.0 may return the error message "Out of Memory" during the "Retrieving Table Information" procedure.

For a solution to this problem, contact Microsoft Product Support Services at (425) 635-7080.

MORE INFORMATION

DAL version 1.3 does not return table size information the way DAM expects it. This can result in the "Out of Memory" message.
