SUMMARY

Automatic page breaks do not appear in a print area that is set based on a discontinuous range of cells. For example, "$A$1:$Z$100" is a continuous range of cells. "$A$1:$G$100,$M$1:$Z$100" is a discontinuous range of cells.

Manual page breaks, however, will be displayed in either a continuous or discontinuous print area.

To display page breaks in a discontinuous print area, do the following to replace all automatic page breaks with manual page breaks:

  1. Delete the print area using the following procedure:

    a. From the Formula menu, choose Define Name. b. Select "Print_Area". c. Click the Delete button. d. Click the OK button.

  2. Replace all of the automatic page breaks with manual page breaks, as follows:

    a. Select a cell to the right of a vertical page break or below a

          horizontal page break.

    b. From the Options menu, choose Set Page Break. c. Repeat for all automatic page breaks.

  3. Reset the discontinuous print area.
