Excel: Cannot Eject 3.00 Setup Disk

SUMMARY

After you run the Microsoft Excel Setup program on a Macintosh with System version 6.0.3, you may not be able to eject the Microsoft Excel Setup disk. To remove the image of the disk from the Macintosh desktop, you must restart the Macintosh.

Even if the Microsoft Excel Setup disk does not eject, it will in no way affect the performance of the Microsoft Excel Setup program or Excel.

STATUS

The Microsoft Excel Setup disk will not eject because of a problem in the System 6.0.3 software. Apple corrected this problem in System version 6.0.4.
