SUMMARY

Page 24 of the "Microsoft Excel Quick Reference Guide" version 2.2 manual and the keyboard template both incorrectly list that COMMAND+F7 will move the active document window and COMMAND+F8 will size the active document window.

To move a window in Excel for the Macintosh, place the mouse pointer on the title bar. Press and hold down the mouse button while you drag the mouse to reposition the window. Release the mouse button when the window is in the desired location.

To size a window in Excel for the Macintosh, use the "size box" in the lower-right corner of the window. To use the size box, place the mouse pointer on the size box. Press and hold down the mouse button while you drag the mouse to size the window to the shape desired. Release the button when the window is the desired size.

MORE INFORMATION

The use of the F7 and F8 keys to move the active document window and size the active document window are limited to the PC versions of Excel. On the Macintosh, the mouse is used to perform these actions.
