Excel: Core Topic Not Identified with Colored Rectangle

Last reviewed: October 31, 1994

SUMMARY

Page 1 of the "Microsoft Excel Reference" for version 2.20 incorrectly states that a core topic is identified by a colored rectangle at the edge of each page of the topic. However, the core topics do not have any special identification. The following are the six core topics:

   Chart
   Command, menu, and dialog box
   Database
   Help
   Windows
   Worksheet

The exact location of the core topics can be found in the table of contents or index of the "Microsoft Excel Reference" manual for version 2.20.
