DOCERR: Online Help for _dos_setvect Function Is Wrong

The information in this article applies to:

  • The C Run-time (CRT), included with: Microsoft Visual C++ for Windows, versions 1.0 and 1.5

The description of the "_dos_setvect" function in the Microsoft C/C++ Language online Help file (MSCXX.HLP) is incorrect. When you click the compatibility button, the online Help file says the function listed is compatible with MS-DOS, QWIN, WIN, and WIN DLL projects. This is incorrect. The listed function is only available for MS-DOS projects.

NOTE: This is different from the "_dos_getvect" function, which is in fact available for all project types.

The printed documentation and Books Online include the correct compatibility information for _dos_setvect.
