Excel: Dialog Boxes Not Centered on Large-Screen Monitors

SUMMARY

Microsoft Excel version 2.20 and 3.00 center built-in dialog boxes on screens up to the standard Macintosh II 8.8-inch x 6.6-inch monitors. For screens larger than these dimensions, dialog boxes are centered in the upper-left 8.8 inches x 6.6 inches (as if they were centered on a standard Macintosh II screen).

Excel centers dialog boxes in this manner on large-screen monitors to make it easier to move between dialog boxes and the menus and formula bar.
