Excel: Fractional Margins Not Accepted by Mac Daisy Link

Last reviewed: October 31, 1994

SUMMARY

When using the Mac Daisy Link driver with Microsoft Excel version 2.20, you cannot enter fractional measurements (that is, .75, 1.5, 1.25) in the margins in Page Setup. This is because the Mac Daisy Link driver does not accept fractional margins in Page Setup.

To enable Excel to print with fractional margins, do the following:

  1. Choose another printer driver from the Chooser (ImageWriter, LaserWriter, etc.).

  2. Enter the fractional margins in Page Setup.

  3. Reselect the Mac Daisy Link driver from the Chooser.

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
