The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Excel for Windows, version 4.0

SUMMARY

In Microsoft Excel for Windows, GET.DOCUMENT(50) on a macro sheet returns the total number of printed pages that will be generated based on current worksheet settings. In some cases, the value returned will not decrease properly if the Print Area is set to a smaller portion of the document.

NOTE: This also causes Print Report to print the wrong page numbers on multi-page reports.

MORE INFORMATION

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Excel version 4.0 for Windows. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Excel version 4.0a for Windows.
