Excel: GET.DOCUMENT(64) or (65) Return Incorrect Count or #N/A

SUMMARY

The GET.DOCUMENT(64) function returns an array of row numbers corresponding to rows that are immediately below a manual or automatic page break. The GET.DOCUMENT(65) function returns an array of column numbers corresponding to columns that are immediately to the right of a manual or automatic page break. In version 4.0 of Microsoft Excel for Windows, these automatic page breaks are determined based on the page orientation specified in the Windows Printer Setup dialog box instead of the page orientation specified in the Microsoft Excel Page Setup dialog box.

If the orientation option for your worksheet is set to landscape in the Microsoft Excel Page Setup dialog box but the Portrait option is selected in the Windows Printer Setup dialog box, the GET.DOCUMENT(64) or (65) functions return an array of portrait page breaks instead of an array of landscape page breaks. This situation applies only to automatic page breaks.

Note: If there are not enough rows or columns of data to fill one or more pages, the GET.DOCUMENT(64) or (65) functions return the "no value is available" (#N/A) error value. This number of pages is determined by the page orientation specified in the Windows Printer Setup dialog box instead of the page orientation specified in the Microsoft Excel Page Setup dialog box.
