Excel: Odd Results with Camera Tool and Paste Picture Link

SUMMARY

When you use the Camera tool or the Paste Picture Link command (this command is available when you press SHIFT and select the Edit menu) to paste a group of cells, you may receive unexpected results if the selected range is over 20 columns wide or over 75 rows high.

Pasting with the Camera tool may produce a very small square, while the Paste Picture Link command may produce a small empty box. In addition, the small square pasted with the Camera tool may disappear when you select another cell.

This problem occurs because of a limitation of the Windows operating system -- Windows can handle a maximum of 32000 twips (1 twip=1/20 point, and 1 point=1/72 inch). The problem will occur if the size of the metafile exceeds this size limit.
