SUMMARY

If you copy a Microsoft Excel chart or graphic with the Copy Picture command and paste it to a Microsoft Publisher version 2.0 document, you may receive a general protection (GP) fault.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use Microsoft Publisher version 2.0a. This version of Publisher pastes the copied picture without generating a GP fault.
