SUMMARY

You may receive the following error message when installing the Creative Labs Sound Blaster Pro Wave and MIDI driver (SBPSND.DRV) from the Windows Driver Library (WDL): 

   Cannot Load the Creative Sound Blaster Pro Wave and MIDI driver.
   The driver file may be missing. Try installing the driver again, or
   contact your system administrator.
This error is caused when you attempt to load the Pro Wave and MIDI driver dated 5-15-92 using the Control Panel and you do not have a Sound Blaster Pro sound card installed in your system.

This error does not occur with the Sound Blaster Pro Auxiliary Audio Driver (SBPAUX.DRV) or the Sound Blaster Pro FM Driver (SBPFM.DRV) under the same conditions.

To correct the problem, install the sound card and reinstall the driver from Control Panel.
