The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Excel for Windows, version 4.0

SUMMARY

In version 4.0 of Microsoft Excel, if you format two adjacent ranges with the Center Across Selection option while one of the ranges is not visible on the screen, your text may not be completely visible when you scroll through the worksheet to display both ranges.

To display your document correctly, scroll through your document so that both ranges are completely off the screen and then scroll back through your document so that both ranges are visible again.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in version 4.0 of Microsoft Excel for Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
