Excel: Two Monitor (Color and Black/White) Display Problems

SUMMARY

Microsoft Excel provides both color monitor support and monochrome monitor support.

When a hardware configuration includes both a color monitor and a black-and-white monitor with the color monitor as the main display, display errors relating to screen updating may occur. This is a drawback of using two different types of monitors.

For example, you may find that a color chart does not display correctly when shown on the monochrome monitor. If only solid colors are used, the chart will display in solid black. For the chart to display correctly, format the color chart to use both colors and patterns for each series.
