This may occur with removable disks such as floppy disks which can be write-protected. CAUSE ===== The real-mode DriveSpace driver (Drvspace.bin) does not mount a compressed volume on a read-only drive. RESOLUTION ========== STATUS ====== This problem no longer occurs in Windows 98.
