Using the Trumpwsk.ini File to Configure TCP/IP Properties

SUMMARY

The TCP/IP network protocol is commonly used for connecting to an Internet provider with Dial-Up Networking. If you are using the Trumpet utility to connect to an Internet provider, information contained in the Trumpwsk.ini file may be useful when you are configuring the TCP/IP protocol for use with Dial-Up Networking. This article lists the entries in the Trumpwsk.ini file that may be of use when you are configuring TCP/IP.

The following table lists the relevant entries in the [Trumpet Winsock] section of the Trumpwsk.ini file and the corresponding entries from the TCP/IP Properties dialog box:

                     properties. To view the properties for your
                     modem, double-click the Modems icon in
                     Control Panel, click the modem that you are
                     using for Dial-Up Networking, and click
                     Properties. 

NOTE: Any Trumpwsk.ini entry not shown in the above table does not have a corresponding entry in the TCP/IP Properties dialog box.
