How to Obtain a Windows 3.00 Compatible Version of Q+E

SUMMARY

Microsoft has released a Microsoft Windows version 3.00 compatible version of Q+E for Microsoft Excel. This version is Microsoft Q+E version 2.10c for Microsoft Excel.

To obtain the upgrade, contact Microsoft Sales and Service at (800) 426-9400.

Pioneer Software Systems Corporation, the developer of Q+E, has the retail version of Q+E 2.10c, which is an extended version of the Q+E sold by Microsoft. Pioneer's version also is Windows 3.00 compatible.

Its version of Q+E contains a feature called the definer that enables the creation of dBASE-compatible files and indexes. This feature is not available in the Microsoft release of Q+E 2.10c.
