When you use the DISABLE.INPUT command in a macro to disable keyboard and mouse input, you must issue a second DISABLE.INPUT command that returns control to the keyboard and mouse. Otherwise, 3. Run the following macro from the second instance of Microsoft Excel:

A1: =INITIATE("Excel","System") A2: =EXECUTE(A1,"[DISABLE.INPUT(0)]") A3: =RETURN()


4. Close this instance of Microsoft Excel and return to the previous one.

Keyboard and mouse input will now be re-enabled.
