Incorrect Record Copied to the Clipboard

SUMMARY

After adding several criteria in Q+E, you may find that when you select a record and choose Copy from the Edit menu, the incorrect data is placed in the Clipboard.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

  1. Open the example file ADDR.DBF.

  2. Select NC under State.

  3. From the Select menu, choose Add Condition.

  4. Choose OK to accept defaults (equal "NC").

  5. Select Woltman under Last_Name.

  6. Choose Add Condition.

  7. Choose OK to accept the defaults (and equal "Woltman").

  8. Select George Woltman.

  9. Press CTRL+INS.

  10. Start the Clipboard.

  11. The data in the Clipboard is "Tim Sampair."
