SUMMARY

AT&T Star Sentry System Manager does not query MIB table data correctly and requires Patch 03.60.10 to work with the Windows NT SNMP service. To obtain this patch, call AT&T at (800) 543-9935.

MORE INFORMATION

Star Sentry System Manager is SNMP manager-based on NetLabs Dimons Manager.

The problem occurs when you do a GET or GETNEXT to a MIB entry that returns a table. The Windows NT SNMP service goes into a loop and continually return the first entry in the table. Using patch 03.60.10 on the SNMP manager corrects this problem.
