Backup Hangs NT with Future Domain TMC-1660 and Wangtek 5150ES

SYMPTOMS

A system with a Wangtek 5150ES SCSI tape drive and a 16-bit Future Domain TMC-1660 SCSI host adapter hangs when the Windows NT Backup program is used.

CAUSE

Some revisions of the firmware for the system hang due to this combination.

RESOLUTION

Contact Wangtek to get the latest revision of the firmware.
