Deskscan Does Not Work with Maynard 16-Bit SCSI Host Adapter

The Maynard 16-bit host adapter was designed to work only with tapes, although it does work properly with most other peripherals such as disk drives.

Due to hardware limitations, however, Maynard does not work with devices that transfer an odd number of bytes, such as scanners. This is a hardware limitation and there is no workaround.
