DLC Stack Does Not Work with FDDI Cards on Windows NT

SYMPTOMS

The DLC protocol stack supplied with Windows NT fails to install correctly if it is bound to an FDDI network card. Errors are reported in the event log indicating that the DLC stack failed to initialize.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1.
