SYMPTOMS

This error message appears when you type a Windows NT FTP client or Telnet command with the keyboard CAPS LOCK enabled:

   ?Invalid command

CAUSE

Consistent with UNIX and TCP/IP commands, Windows NT FTP client commands are case sensitive.

RESOLUTION

To correctly enter an FTP command, make sure the keyboard CAPS LOCK is not enabled and that you are typing commands with lowercase characters.
