Try "ping /?". When you type the "ping /?" command at a command prompt, you receive the following error message: Bad IP address /?. RESOLUTION ========== To work around this issue and for additional information about the Packet InterNet Groper (PING) utility included with Windows NT (Ping.exe), click Start, click Help, click the Index tab, type "ping" (without the quotation marks) in the text box, and then double-click the Ping Utility topic. MORE INFORMATION ================ Ping is a Transport Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) utility designed to test network connectivity by sending an Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) echo request to the computer to which you are trying to connect.
