Event 2022 During Directory Replication

SYMPTOMS

A Windows NT Server that is replicating files to 40 or 50 Windows NT Workstations is records an event 2022 message every 15 minutes. Example event message:

   Description:
   The server was unable to find a free connection 4 times in the last
   60 seconds.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
